HomeBrew Electronics is a manufacturer of hand-made, boutique guitar effects and their H.B.E. Power Screamer is a tonally wide-ranging and transparent overdrive pedal. It ''oozes'' vintage, tube-like overdrive. It's based on the famed, TS-808 Ibanez Tubescreamer, but this version includes the killer Burr Brown Tonestack mod (basically 2 Burr Brown IC chips stacked). The Powerscreamer also features some great upgrades such as a 2-way Diode Select switch, Fat-Boost switch and a separate, footswitchable boost.  Adjustable Gain, Level and Tone controls are standard, as well as True-Bypass Switching. Like all HBE products, this one is hand-made in the USA.
