Resonant Electonics took a slightly different approach to the Field Effects Manifold Drive than most other boutique builders use for their distortion pedals. The Manifold Drive isn’t just another effects pedal clone, it’s a newly designed  overdrive circuit from the ground up. It’s a distortion pedal that truly captures the subtleness of high quality tube amp overdrive and so much more. One of most beautiful aspects of the Manifold Drive is its transparency- it will add grit, dimension, and responsiveness to an amp without stripping any of its fundamental personality.

Don’t be fooled by the deceptively simple looks of the Field Effects Manifold Drive by Resonant Electronic Design. It contains a plethora of useful tones that you'll love. Using the "Drive" control, tones ranging from incredibly mild soft-clipping, to all-out fuzz-like aggression can be conjured with ease. The clipping circuit of the Manifold Drive was designed to mimic the compression envelope of an old, tube-rectified, push-pull tube amplifier.

The EQ switch has three settings that allow for very different guitars to be used easily, without having to alter the settings on your amp. It can also be used to turn the Manifold Drive into a treble boost or a dark fuzz pedal... the possibilities are nearly endless.

Like all Field Effects pedals by Resonant Electronic Design, the Manifold Drive uses a discrete Class A topology and is built with audiophile grade components.
