Eastwood Guitars Mandola "The Cosey" - Sunburst - Semi Hollow Electric Mandola - NEW!
Eastwood Guitars Mandola “The Cosey”
Semi-Hollow Electric Mandola
Following up on the success of their poplar “MAP-styled” Airline Mandola, Eastwood is now happy to introduce a new Mandola to the lineup with a more "traditional" body style. Based on the popular "The Cosey", which is actually a 6-string guitar with a Mandolin-inspired body design, “The Cosey” Mandola features a semi-hollow (tone-chambered) body which gives this model more depth and resonance. The Mandola is to the Mandolin what the Viola is to the Violin - tuned in fifths (C-G-D-A low-to-high), a fifth lower than a Mandolin. Historically, the Mandola is the actually ancestor of the Mandolin, the name of which means simply "little mandola".
