It's tuned to high D (just 1 step shy of a full octave up) and strung with mandolin-style unison courses. It plays like a guitar but sounds like a mandolin! Celestial, sparkling highs and a punchy mid-register give the Acoustic Gryphon a unique cut and punch and an unusually wide range of applications. This is a truly inspiring song-writing companion.
