At Make'n Music, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we'll work with you to make it right.

Quick Return Policy Summary

  • Return Window: 30 days from delivery
  • Condition: Products must be in their original, unused condition
  • Return Method: UPS or FedEx only
  • Return Label: We provide a prepaid return label
  • Restocking Fee: 6%
  • Refund Processing: Refunds issued within 3 business days of receiving the return
  • Exchanges: Accepted; restocking fee may be waived

Return Window

  • You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item.
  • Returns requested after this window may not be accepted.

Return Condition Requirements

  • Items must be returned in new, unused condition with all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
  • Items must be returned in their original case/box.
  • Items must not be “registered” with the manufacturer for warranty purposes.
  • Unless your item arrived damaged or not as described, returns that show signs of use, wear, or missing components may be declined.

Return Costs & Restocking Fees

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or “not as described.”
  • Any additional shipping charges for oversized, non-original packages are the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • “Full shipping costs” means the full cost of shipping, even if the original shipping was included free or subsidized.
  • To receive a refund (minus shipping charges), your return request must be submitted within 3 days of receiving your item. A 6% restocking fee will apply.
  • The 6% restocking fee may be waived at our discretion for exchanges or store credit.
  • Any return requests submitted after 3 days of item receipt will be processed for credit (minus shipping charges) or refunded (minus shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee).

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us at info@makenmusic.com to request a Return Authorization (RA#).
  2. Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions and a prepaid return label.
  3. Pack your item securely and ship it back using UPS or FedEx only (we do not accept USPS returns).

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to your original form of payment within 3 business days after your return has been received and processed.
  • Final Sale items are not eligible for refunds.

Exchanges

  • Need a different product? Contact us and we’ll arrange an exchange when possible.
  • Exchanges or store credit requests may have the restocking fee waived at our discretion.

Exceptions & Special Cases

  • Final Sale items: International orders, Discounted, Clearance, Demo, B-Stock, Certified, Used, and items sold “as-is” cannot be returned.
  • Special Orders & Back Orders: Non-cancelable. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Upgraded/Expedited Shipping: Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day describe carrier time in transit, in business days, after processing and pickup. Most orders are processed within 1 business day.

Returns Addendum

Important: Contact us directly BEFORE YOU PURCHASE if you have customized return policy needs or have questions about avoiding unnecessary restocking fees.

  • Unauthorized Returns: Unauthorized returns are not acceptable and may be subject to a restocking fee as high as 20%.
  • Return Authorization Required: You must contact us for a Return Authorization number (RA#) and return instructions before returning anything, otherwise the return will be considered unauthorized and may be refused.
  • Shipping Charges: Unless an item is damaged or otherwise delivered not as described, buyers are responsible for all shipping charges both ways, even if the original shipping was included and/or subsidized. Shipping charges and appropriate restocking fees will be deducted from any refunds.
  • International Orders: International orders cannot be returned.
  • Return Carriers: We do not accept USPS returns. UPS or FedEx only. Returns shipped via USPS may be refused and will be considered unauthorized.
