Suhr Guitars hardly needs any introduction, its reputation for excellence is demonstrated by its stable of high calibre guitarists: fusion player and Tribal Tech alum Scott Henderson sits alongside rockers Reb Beach and Doug Aldrich plus the amazing Pete Thorn. Based in Lake Elsinore, California, JS Technologies was co-founded in 1997 by John Suhr and Steve Smith to produce the award winning Suhr Guitars and Custom Audio Amplifier brands.
John Suhr, a longtime guitar builder who has crafted guitars for Mark Knopfler, Peter Frampton, Guthrie Govan, Reb Beach, and others runs his own custom shop, Suhr Guitars, in Lake Elsinore, California. Suhr Guitars combines hand-craftsmanship with modern technology, using CNC routers to cut their own necks, bodies, and pickguards.
