Based on the vintage Gibson L-00 style guitars first introduced around the same time as the OM, the Collings C10 is a leaner alternative, with the narrow waist and small upper bout resulting in a precise, focused response. Of all the various Collings acoustic guitar models, the C10 is perhaps the easiest for electric guitarists to adapt to, thanks in part to the more rounded neck profile. With its unique shape and asymmetrical headstock's lines echoed in the curvilinear pickguard, C10 models offer a welcome alternative for those who find that most small acoustic guitars look too much alike.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis guitar is not mint, but it is extremely nice. It’s had “all the work” necessary to be a true player’s instrument, while maintaining the vintage vibe and patina acquired naturally over the past 94 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eAll repair work was professionally completed by Third Coast Guitar Service in Chicago, IL. The neck has a lovely, comfy, soft V profile. It was reset, the fingerboard leveled and refretted, and an upgraded cone was installed. Action is 4\/32\" on the bass side and 3\/32\" on the treble side at the 12th fret. There was a small crack on one side of the slotted headstock which was also re-glued and the neck was oversprayed with a thin coat of satin nitro for a great feel. No serious sanding or reshaping or loss of patina.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe original Frosted Duco finish is well worn, and if you could visualize what years of tone sound like, this would be it. The neck has a lovely, comfy, soft V profile. It was reset, the fingerboard leveled and refretted, and an upgraded cone was installed. Action is 4\/32\" on the bass side and 3\/32\" on the treble side at the 12th fret. There was a small crack on one side of the slotted headstock which was also re-glued and the neck was oversprayed with a thin coat of satin nitro for a great feel.
