The Gretsch G6136CST is a Custom Shop White Falcon, Masterbuilt by Stephen Stern. It is absolutely gorgeous, and features a lightly distressed, Relic finish package in Nitrocellulose Lacquer. Based on the earliest White Falcon guitars of the mid '50s, this model is as close to the original as you can get short of having a time machine. Features include period-correct body and neck construction, wiring and electronics. The single-coil DynaSonic pickups faithfully recreate the tone of the originals, and the Falcon's signature eye-catching trim is preserved. This guitar also includes a Bigby tremolo. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get. Immaculate condition! Hardly any signs of use at all (at least that aren’t part of the factory Relic finish package). No serious issues, repairs, dings, dents, damage, or wear. Cosmetically, there is some bleed from the case interior that has transferred to the finish. But there is other discoloration that is part of the Relic package, and so it does not really look unusual, or out of place. It is a custom instrument that features ES-345 style Parallelogram Inlays and Purfling for a stunning, understated yet elegant look. The neck profile is slim and feels exactly like the neck on my own personal vintage 1962 SG Special, and a 1961 ES-335 I used to have, so I suspect it may have been carved especially for Eric to replicate an actual vintage Gibson. It is a phenomenally good sounding and playing guitar. The woods are exquisite too – especially the dark and beautifully figured Rosewood fingerboard. The typical Orange Gibson Label is affixed inside the F-Hole and inscribed with the model ES-335 and sn# EC001. The original brown hardshell case with pink lining is included. The condition is excellent without any serious issues, damage or repairs. The neck profile is slim and feels exactly like the neck on my own personal vintage 1962 SG Special, and a 1961 ES-335 I used to have, so I suspect it may have been carved especially for Eric to replicate an actual vintage Gibson. It is a phenomenally good sounding and playing guitar. The woods are exquisite too – especially the dark and beautifully figured Rosewood fingerboard. The typical Orange Gibson Label is affixed inside the F-Hole and inscribed with the model ES-335 and sn# EC001. The original brown hardshell case with pink lining is included. The condition is excellent without any serious issues, damage or repairs. Every detail of these Collings instruments is perfect- from the workmanship to the playability and tone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCosmetically speaking the Collings I-35 Deluxe is a truly beautiful instrument. It has that classic, vintage look. But upon closer examination all the things that make a Collings Guitar a true work of functional musical art become apparent. Like all Collings instruments, this guitar is a work of beauty- Especially the DLX model with Ivoroid Binding throughout - including Knobs and Pickup rings, Parallelogram Inlays, Tiger Eye finish and STUNNING Quilted Maple top. This is NOT the ''LC'' version (with laminated construction like the original vintage Gibson guitars, instead it has the chambered solid Mahogany back and SOLID carved Maple top). Every detail of these Collings instruments is perfect- from the workmanship to the playability and tone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCosmetically speaking the Collings I-35 Deluxe is a truly beautiful instrument. It has that classic, vintage look. But upon closer examination all the things that make a Collings Guitar a true work of functional musical art become apparent.
