The bright Dakota Red paint paired with the dark board is very Mark Knopfler-esque, and the finish package is lightly distressed. Heavy lacquer checking but not really any serious, fake-looking wear and tear. Overall, the condition is immaculate other than one scuff, which may or may not be factory stock. How can you tell when the guitar is a light relic anyway? No other issues, fret wear, etc…\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe construction is based on a hybrid 50’s \/ 60’s style Stratocaster with a super lightweight Ash Body and a slimmer, Soft “V” Maple Neck (quartersawn) w\/ a dark Rosewood slab fingerboard. This guitar is absolutely incredible. Feather light, loud, lively – Unbelievably resonant. It just vibrates against your body and transmits tone as if an amp is not even necessary. The frets are larger than vintage and smaller than jumbo, but I don’t know exactly what size they are. The knobs and pickup covers are rounded, similar to a ’54 style.
