It's is extremely lightweight for a Rosewood Tele- these can normally be anywhere from 10 - 12 lbs on average. This one is only 8.6 lbs. The tone is incredible - Thick, punchy, ringing and sustaining. Cosmetically the guitar is very clean. It is a \"Closet Classic\" - so it comes stock from Fender with a subtle, aged patina to replicate what you might see on a vintage instrument that was kept in the closet rather than heavily played during it's lifetime. Other than the stock patina, the only real signs it was used are some superfical pick marks on the pickguard. No series issues, wear, damage or repairs. Like all our used \/ vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. These features gave the Tele a more sophisticated look and this 2012 Custom Shop Time Machine Series rendition of the '61 Tele Custom is one of the most sophisticated yet. It combines some the most requested custom specs Fender offers like a Relic finish, the new Twisted Tele pickup set, a #3 \"C\" shaped neck with a dark Indian rosewood fingerboard, taller 6105 frets, a 9.5 fingerboard radius and modern switching.
