These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player's piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis particular guitar is based on modified early 60’s Telecaster specs with some 1964 details for a transition-era vibe. The body is Roasted Alder which has been sorted for Lightweight, and it sports a truly authentic looking, hand-distressed, Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! The tone is incredible thanks to a pair of great sounding pickups- The 64 Tele pickup in the bridge position for plenty of Twang, along with a Twisted Tele pickup in the neck position for added clarity and sparkle – an amount Strat-like tone. They are wired to a 3-way switch with a Master Volume and Tone Control. There is also an S1 switch hidden discreetly in the Tone Control which provides for the Neck+Bridge pickups in-series when engaged (like a preset “boost” button)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, they play like a dream. The neck profile is an ultra-comfy, \"custom for Make'n Music\" Mid 60's Oval C. At .825\" - .945\" it's perfectly shaped to fit in any size hands. Gently rolled edges and 6105 fret wire, along with the flatter 9.5\" radius and 1\u0026amp;11\/16\" nut width allow for easier chording and faster leads without fretting out. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak. Its one-piece rift-sawn maple neck has a great big 1950 Esquire “U” profile, no truss rod, a 7.25”-9.5” vintage compound radius and 21 medium vintage frets. With its NOS “flash coat” nitrocellulose lacquer finish and Closet Classic hardware, the Vintage Custom 1950 Pine Esquire looks like a well-cared-for original with only slight aging. Some people refer to this finish as “Relic Ready”. It’s much thinner than the traditional NOS finish package and will quickly show signs of use and checking – Perfect for those who want to “relic it yourself”. ** PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple of small dings on the back of the body already.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e*** Please also Note: The guitar is currently wired up with the included Telecaster Neck Pickup, Pickguard, and Electronics installed. Its one-piece rift-sawn maple neck has a great big 1950 Esquire “U” profile, no truss rod, a 7.25”-9.5” vintage compound radius and 21 medium vintage frets. With its NOS “flash coat” nitrocellulose lacquer finish and Closet Classic hardware, the Vintage Custom 1950 Pine Esquire looks like a well-cared-for original with only slight aging. Some people refer to this finish as “Relic Ready”. Another light, loud and lively Custom Shop Tele – This time it’s based on a ’59 Custom Telecaster with double bound body in a beautiful, Chocolate 3 Tone Sunburst finish with a Time Capsule NOS finish package. It has ultra-thin, nitrocellulose “Flash Coat” lacquer (sometimes referred to as “Relic Ready”), which is not buffed out. It is glossy, but due the thin nature of the nitro, they don’t buff it. They just leave it in its natural state which does have a slight, orange peel texture and Closet Classic Nickel\/Chrome hardware. Overall the guitar is in excellent original condition without any serious issues, repairs or damage. It has been played, so there may be some fine, superficial marks here and there, but no major dings, dents or wear. One modification has been made – the off white side dots were hard to see so the original owner had them replaced with normal white side dots. If I didn’t mention it here I do not think you would notice as it is not detectable and looks completely stock. Another light, loud and lively Custom Shop Tele – This time it’s based on a ’59 Custom Telecaster with double bound body in a beautiful, Chocolate 3 Tone Sunburst finish with a Time Capsule NOS finish package. It has ultra-thin, nitrocellulose “Flash Coat” lacquer (sometimes referred to as “Relic Ready”), which is not buffed out. It is glossy, but due the thin nature of the nitro, they don’t buff it. They just leave it in its natural state which does have a slight, orange peel texture and Closet Classic Nickel\/Chrome hardware. Overall the guitar is in excellent original condition without any serious issues, repairs or damage. It has been played, so there may be some fine, superficial marks here and there, but no major dings, dents or wear. One modification has been made – the off white side dots were hard to see so the original owner had them replaced with normal white side dots. If I didn’t mention it here I do not think you would notice as it is not detectable and looks completely stock. But since he pointed that out to me I wanted to list it here too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe body is lightweight Alder, the neck is rift-sawn Maple with a Dark Rosewood fingerboard and ’59 Large C profile, 7.25” - 9.5” compound radius, Medium Vintage 47095 frets, and a pair of excellent sounding hand-wound ’58 Telecaster pickups.
