It has all the burnished, syrupy overdrive and chunky grit of vintage Fender Tweed, mixed with Silvertone \/ Supro style rawness.The Falcon is a whole new type of Tone King amp. It's stripped-down, single channel preamp funnels pure tone straight from your guitar to the speaker. This new preamp is built around a raw, tweed-meets-supro tone with beefy mids and a sweet top end. The 3-position switch allows you to custom tailor the basic voicing to be a bit cleaner and brighter (\u003ci\u003eRhythm\u003c\/i\u003e \u003ci\u003esetting\u003c\/i\u003e), a bit more \"tweed\" (\u003ci\u003eTweed setting)\u003c\/i\u003e or a bit tighter and gainier \u003ci\u003e(Lead setting)\u003c\/i\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe dual 6V6 output stage is where the real magic happens. You can actually hear the tone evolve from soft and warm to angry and aggressive as you hit the strings harder or vary your pick attack. When the 6V6s do start to growl, they break up with a consonant set of even ordered harmonics.
