On this one we requested a Rear Rout body with slanted HSS pickup configuration, an iconic Tyler Shmear finish, and just to make it a bit more unique, the Coma Logo, with EXPLOGO and a BIABA on the back of the headstock (and who doesn’t want their guitar to say, “Built in American by Assholes”?) The Wolfhound is an incredible instrument – It’s good looking, it feels fantastic, it’s light, lively, resonant, and a true joy to play! I think this is my new favorite model (Paulina Poriskova is my old favorite model)! Tom Anderson has been building the highest quality boutique electric guitars for as long as anyone, and his creations are right up there with the best of the best. This one features all the killer features Tom Anderson guitars are known for – The unique “wedge” neck joint (which provides exceptional tone transfer and resonance, in addition to perfect alignment and geometry), Stainless Steel frets, perfect fit and finish, and versatile electronics which in this case include a pair of great sounding humbuckers – each with it’s own Cut Switch, and a 3 way “big toggle” for pickup selection. It’s constructed with a lightweight Limba body and Mahogany neck with Blackheart fingerboard and \"houndstooth\" inlays. Of course it does all this while offering all the custom, boutique enhancements discerning players have come to expect from Tom Anderson Guitarworks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis particular Icon has some of my favorite Tom Anderson specs, including a beautiful Olympic White finish with a Tortoise Pickguard. It's also got an Alder body, my favorite uber-comfy “62 Pete” neck profile (.815” - .940”) with rolled fingerboard edges, versatile and user-friendly electronics (including a push\/push Tone control for the neck+bridge pickup combination, for Tele-style sounds), lightweight wood and incredible acoustic resonance. The playability is unrivaled and it's dripping with tone. This baby plays great. Sounds great. Looks great....
