Seriously resonant with all the sustain and vibratory goodness you could ever want. The body is lightweight Ash and the neck is rift sawn Maple with a great feeling, 11\/56 “V” profile. A 9.5” radius and 6105 frets allow for low action you can really dig into, and bend with ease without fear of fretting out. These two pieces of wood are working in perfect harmony as just knocking on the guitar creates a musical tone similar to a marimba. But wait, it gets better…. The bridge pickup is one of my favorites – the Hand Wound Loaded Nocaster which has been installed with a reverse angle to tame harshness and sweeten the top end while allowing for great clarity and note definition. Did I mention it’s a fire breather too? It is. You could slay dragons with this beast. The neck pickup is the recently rediscovered Wide Range Humbucker with CuNiFe magnets for an authentic, rich, and bell-like humbucking tone with full bass and clear treble that blends well and plays nice with the bridge pickup. Dual Stack HS Tele wiring with the 250k\/500k volume pot allows everything to sound as good as it should. You are really going to enjoy this one. Its one-piece rift-sawn maple neck has a great big 1950 Esquire “U” profile, no truss rod, a 7.25”-9.5” vintage compound radius and 21 medium vintage frets. With its NOS “flash coat” nitrocellulose lacquer finish and Closet Classic hardware, the Vintage Custom 1950 Pine Esquire looks like a well-cared-for original with only slight aging. Some people refer to this finish as “Relic Ready”. Fender shipped barely a handful of them before changing the body to ash and the finish to blonde. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTrue to the original, the “Vintage Custom 1950 Pine Esquire” is a faithful recreation and features a slightly thinner (1.5”) laminated pine body. Its one-piece rift-sawn maple neck has a great big 1950 Esquire “U” profile, no truss rod, a 7.25”-9.5” vintage compound radius and 21 medium vintage frets. With its NOS “flash coat” nitrocellulose lacquer finish and Closet Classic hardware, the Vintage Custom 1950 Pine Esquire looks like a well-cared-for original with only slight aging. Some people refer to this finish as “Relic Ready”. It’s much thinner than the traditional NOS finish package and will quickly show signs of use and checking – Perfect for those who want to “relic it yourself”. ** PLEASE NOTE: There are a couple of small dings on the back of the body already.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e*** Please also Note: The guitar is currently wired up with the included Telecaster Neck Pickup, Pickguard, and Electronics installed. Full-throttle Esquire wiring (on the side) - (Position 1: Volume and Tone, Position 2: Volume, Position 3: Pickup Straight to Output) with a three-way switch. The installed wiring is for the Telecaster configuration.
