Jumbo-bodied Cutaway Electric/Acoustic
The Gibson EC-30 BKE (Blues King Electro) is a Cutaway, Jumbo-shaped Acoustic/Electric guitar model produced at the Gibson Montana factory between 1994 and 1998. This particular instrument is from 1998. It was designed for versatile performance, blending a traditional jumbo body's resonance with a cutaway for upper-fret access. Equipped with a built-in pickup system, this guitar ensures your sound remains true and clear when amplified, allowing for seamless transitions between acoustic and electric settings. The Ebony Fingerboard and Bridge add to its playability, providing a smooth feel under your fingertips. The figured Maple back and sides and fully bound body, neck and headstock all contribute to its rich, elegant look. Pearl fingerboard inlays and Rosette too! Whether you're a seasoned performer or an aspiring musician, the used, Gibson EC-30 Blues King Electro is engineered to inspire and enhance your musical journey.
Like all our used/vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. No serious dings, dents, damage, or repairs. Just the usual signs of use for a well-cared for, 30-year-old instrument. Light oxidation of the hardware, maybe a minor scuff, lacquer shrinkage, etc… Freshly setup with a fret level and new strings, so it plays great.
This model was part of Gibson's "Montana Factory Era" and eventually evolved into the popular Gibson J-185 EC
