The neck has a lovely, comfy, soft V profile. It was reset, the fingerboard leveled and refretted, and an upgraded cone was installed. Action is 4\/32\" on the bass side and 3\/32\" on the treble side at the 12th fret. There was a small crack on one side of the slotted headstock which was also re-glued and the neck was oversprayed with a thin coat of satin nitro for a great feel. No serious sanding or reshaping or loss of patina.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe original Frosted Duco finish is well worn, and if you could visualize what years of tone sound like, this would be it. There was a small crack on one side of the slotted headstock which was also re-glued and the neck was oversprayed with a thin coat of satin nitro for a great feel. The WS 1000 has a warm, natural feel. It’s very light and comfortable to play. Because the RainSong has no internal bracing, it is loud, with outstanding projection.
